Little Owl
Canon EOS 1D MKII, 300/2.8, .4 x conv, f6.3, 1/800, ISO 400, RAW, RSE, CS2.

Hi All,

This little beauty is always sitting on an old piece of farm machinery sat in the field entrance. It has become used to me appearing and will sit still as long as I don't move to much in the Landy (ie have the camera ready to go  ) It kept me entertained until the Barn Owl appeared over the hedge, I then went off to watch that amazing Owl hunt for well over an hour, only leaving to take food back to the nest.

All comments welcome

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob,

I was going to write that a little cropping would be better. But an second hand I do not think so because do not see it is a little owl any more.
I think the photograph is good as it is.

Great capture Rob, shame about where it chooses to perch but what can you do. Perhaps give it a stern look back.. LOL..!

Love it, might just lose a touch from the top & perhaps a touch of noise reduction on the bg (from a crop?) but a lovely shot, the 'stern look' is great....
