Not the image I have been trying to make from here recently, but this will do....I think. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Works for me. How did you get the soft pink glow in the highlights in the URC? Is it just the combination of mist from the falls and low angle light, or did you use your fog the lens technique?

Sean, this was taken at about 7:45pm. Just low angle light. Thanks.

I like it but it seems like the left 'FG' mossy rocks should be just a little brighter along with the water directly adjacent. Overall, I like the somewhat dark image though.
I get what Chris is driving at: with the L FG stones taking up so much real estate in the image, perhaps we should be able to make out more detail in them. Be that as it may, this is still a gloriously beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing, Marc.
I dunno about this one Marc. All my attention is directed at the highlights and the rainbow and my eye doesn't want to wander anywhere from there. It looks to me like you were trying to draw the viewer's eye from there down to the bottom left corner, but that the water flows top left to bottom right, it really interferes with compositional movement imho. The oranges look just a little overcooked to me too.
I agree with the others, the left bottom 1/4 of the image is a bit dark. Maybe if you cropped the left side and bottom???

Yea not sure about this one being in the league of your other work.... With the big rocks on the Left and everything going away it doesn't feel very inviting to me. Is this Proxy ?
I like this, Marc. I feel totally drawn in, I think in large part due to the dark llc. I love the huge round boulder with the highlights above it. Gives me the feeling that a rainbow is about to materialize into all its colors while I'm watching. Very cool. I also love gazing at the face of the falls. Lots to see and enjoy.
I like the compositional balance between the large rocks in the foreground and the small shafts of light in the background. I also like how the columns of basalt recede with the water of the falls. Lightening the foreground too much would change the compositional balance you've achieved with this image. Beautiful waterfall shot Marc.

I really like this composition and light. The 3D effect from this angle is really amazing. 'Drawn from Dark to Light' would be a good theme. I like the moody foreground which sort of tells a story of moving from there to brighter area to the right.
The crazy part to me is that you might throw this away. I would love an image like this in my gallery. Good work.

a decent shot......not the MA quality we are subjected to on a regular basis.....
the rainbow is in the wrong spot....should be more to the left away from the clutter on the right side.....but I do understand you have to work with what nature gives you....
