Taken back in the Spring before I busted my Sigma.......

In fact it was on this day and this might be the last shot I took with it......

Thanks for looking.....I miss hanging out here and I hate time restrictions that do not allow me to shoot as much as I like!

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/4
Focal Length: 10 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Opening this really makes a startling impact - quite a sweeping sky you've captured, Darren. I like the drama. I do think that you may have a slight magenta colorcast, most noticeable in the clouds but the land and blue sky seem tilted to the pink a tad to my eye.

That is one WIDE scene!! Sooo much to take in!! I bet this printed BIG hangin on a BIG wall would be quite the sight!! Since this is such a huge swath of scenery my only nit is that deep blue sky seems out of place. I just did a browser scroll to crop that all out and I think it works better that way. Also there is a bit of stray branch sticking into the image on the right. Ya might wanna crop that out.

Hmmm 10mm lens, I think I might wanna get me one of those!!

Amazing, Darren! What a surprise when it opened. I really had to catch my breath with a double take. Very dynamic adn a great perspective. Good going! :toast:
