Man eating is an exaggeration to say the least, but these carnivorous Pitcher plants are very interesting. This group was photographed in the Apalachicola National Forest near Sumatra,Florida. These tall plants (up to 3') have a hood that keeps rain water out (if filled with water they would fall over).
Neat picture .Yea they are cool and have white spots on leaves so flys look up and bugs think it is sky and they keep banging their heads till they fall down in to the trap. :)
