Insect id please?

I dont often photograph insects but this little thing caught my attention - reminding me of some fairly tale creature that had met an unfortunate but peaceful ending. Any way I was just wondering if anyone knew what this is? Close up below. Thanks, Tristan

It looks like amoth by the un- clubbed antenae , but could be anything. Maybe an Emerald.

Wow, havent a clue what it is but i really like the image, you always seem to manage to convey some sort of story in your images even when they aren't your usual :biggrin:.

a well composed and interesting image, if a little depressing!! Can't help with the moth ID I'm afraid.
