Who was on Three Fingered Jack last week?

A bit funny reason to post a topic, but last Tuesday, July 29, I met a photographer on the trail head to Three Fingered Jack mountain. I asked him about the level of the forest damage due to the fire. His face seemed familiar to me from NPN avatars. After we departed I realized I forgot to ask him about his name.
Question - did any of you go to Three Fingered Jack on that Tuesday and remember speaking to a guy with a weird Polish accent?

Sounds like Tomas Kaspar maybe ? Drives in a little VW tourbus with a cute dog....
