Nice comp, Ed. I like the rocks in the lrc and how they balance the bright larger peak.

Nice Ed. I was just up there on Sunday.

Was this in one of the tarns around Ice Lake? I don't remember seeing a section of shore that looked like this.

Very, very nice. That's a place that'll be on my short list next year. Thanks for whetting my appetite!

yes, Mel a large tarn (or small lake), it's such a great place! It was my first time there, not my last, I hope. The flowers were unbeleivably lush. Here is another comp .

I'm thinking of heading there this weekend Ed. Do you have any images of the wildflowers? Are they abundant? I don't want to drive 8 hours only to find a mediocre flower show. Thanks.

Great shot, Ed. Plenty for the eye to enjoy here.

I havn't worked on any of the flower shots just yet. The upper basin is tundra with good flowers, but not spectacular. The area from the lower basin up to the upper basin is very lush with abundant Columbine. I don't think it would dissapoint even if the flowers were average,
it's such a photogenic place with abundant waterfalls. I can't say whether some would call it mediocre, but I wouldn't.
