So what does one do when standing on the boardwalk at your favorite pond in Nisqually NWR and nuttin is happenin at all. Well you FIND something to shoot of course!!

These little tree frogs were down in the cat tails below us. This certainly wasn't what I had pre-conceived I might shoot that day but in the end the results are quite satisfying!

So lemme know what yall think of this image!

I love the way this is framed with the soft background. I think my only real nitpick would be possibly cloning out the other blade of grass, but I am still undecided on that. Almost seems as if the frog is looking at it.

Rick: This shot brings back fond memories from my childhood. I remember seeing these little gems in shades of green, brown and copper in the SF Bay Area.

I would crop from the top to accentuate what the little guy is focusing on - the blade of grass.

I like the blade of grass because the frog seems to have an interest in it. Bokeh looks real good. I'd say it's a keeper my friend!

I'm glad you and Nancy made it out there. The cattail looks much more blue than I remember; I guess I didn't see any on folded blades like this. I like the pattern and texture of his skin here. I might crop some off the top to make it feel less centered.

Nice job.

High on the cuteness cuteness factor, Rick. Nice going!
