Thanks everyone and David for the welcome. I am confused as well lol. Have tried uploading a smaller image and it still doesn't work. Will keep trying, and hope to get there in the end !!

When I had the same issue I e-mailed one of our moderators and had the issue sorted in a jiffy (thanks Nick). They can be contacted via the links at the top of the page.
I'm afraid I'm not really up on all this modern computer technology but two options I can think of which worked for me, was using the free web space that's provided by my internet service provider which allowed me to upload an image, right click on it to view the properties, copy the image's address and post that between the relevent IMG tags which allowed it to show ok.
The second option I did was to take out membership to NPN which then allows you to upload images just by selecting the image from your hard drive.
