Digging through the hard drive, found this one and thought I would give it a try. Most of you know where this is Jane Bald. I was up there this past June hopefully for the be all end all sunset.. well needless to say in didn't materialize. This little boy belongs to a family that wondered up there to watch the sunset. They where sitting on the rocks just behind him.
Does the image work? Any thoughts?

Jane Bald...I'll leave that one alone, reluctantly.

The photo is beautiful.

If it was me, I'd take a shot at lightening the green midground and the rocks in the fg, and then hit the rocks with contrast and/or sharpening if they can take it.

While I'm at it, I'd dump the kid, but that will just get me back to unnecessary, unprofessional, politically digusting commnts about Jane Bald.

I think the kid would have looked better farther in the frame- more to the left.
Don't tell Lance one of the other hills is named Round Bald-I believe it would be more then he can bare-errr bear. :-)

TB,

I like it as-is - except for possibly opening up some of the details in the shadows, i.e. the rhodie blooms.

Yes the image works nice. I like the boy's placement. The only thing I find distracting is the limb/tree at the boys leg. - SandyLee
