Taking another break from wedding files I decided to work on some images from the morning I spent in Many Glacier. After raining all night, I awoke to rapidly clearing skies and got myself over to the lake (its nice not to have to hike several miles to get there) and I was treated to some very nice light and awesome clouds. I have an entire progression of shots from the shore, bit I thought I'd just post the last one -- since I think its the best.

This is a real beauty, Paul. The sky and lighting are to die for.

What a beautiful image. The light and the way the clouds are hanging so close to the mountains is sweet.

Muy Bueno! All the way around.

That little stripe of light on the peak is awesome. Killer image all the way around, really. Did you happen to shoot a vertical of this scene that would show a little more of the underwater stones at the bottom of this image?

Beautiful light and atmospheric conditions, another winner here Paul!.

Thanks, guys! Unfortunately, Bret I don't have a vertical composition from here -- it might not have worked because the lake drops of pretty fast and this was pretty much the extent of the underwater scenery -- the rest was dry rock. So just a little taste of foreground interest....
