that's a lovely shot Keith. Well composed, a nice background and I like the ruffled feathers.

Hi Kieth
Yes great pose , position in the frame spot on, and exposure too. Only nit is the bird could do with a touch of USM.
Cheers

Thanks to all,John what does USM mean?

Hi Keith - for me, half the space on the right adds nothing to the image, and it could do with a bit more on the left - and as John says, it could do with a pass of USM - that's unsharp mask in Photoshop.

Go Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask and use these settings in the dialogue box Amount: 30, Radius: 0.3, Threshold: 0.0

Nice image though, good pose, nice head turn and I like the ruffled side feathers :wavey: :wavey:

Hi Kieth
I know you're a Painshop Pro man so the settings would be something like
Radius 0.5 strength 75, Clipping 0
Better to do it gently like this two or three times , than increasing the strength too much.
Cheers
John

Love the pose, rock and BG. Positioning looks ok too - perhaps a bit off the R but not too much or it'll look too tight to some

Was going to say it looked a bit dark until I realised its just me slouching in front of the monitor!!!!

Hi Keith,

I love it! Nice composition (Like it as it is!). I do agree with a touch more USM for web presentation though!
