Looking for Hermit Pass Conditions

I'm thinking about going up Hermit Pass Saturday afternoon to catch sunset, and possibly sunrise on Sunday morning. Anyone know if the road is open all the way to the top?

After all our recent hot weather, if not to the top, I'd guess you can get to that last switchback. But even if you can't get that close, there's still so much to shoot up there.
