I'm pleased to announce that I'll have two pieces on display at this year's Colorado State Fair. This is the first year I've entered. It will be interesting to see the exhibition this year. One of the pieces is a 16"x56" pano. They hang with wire at the exhibit - I'm kinda interested to see how they hang it.
Congrats also to Stan Rose. He was recognized. I don't want to say more yet as he may not have seen his notification letter yet.
Anybody else displaying in the Fair this year? I know Stephen Weaver usually submits pieces. I only saw the awardee list for the emerging artist/student category.
Good to hear, Kalin, i can't wait to see your shots--especially that pano! Thanks for the congrats, just found out a few hours ago. I hope Steve has his usual impressive display up, it's always a highlite for me.
Hey guys.
A Big Congrats to Stan for his First place in The Digital Arts category for "Sunrise at Ute Pass" and an also a Jurors choice for Winter Relativity! Way to go!!
Yes, I will have work in the fair this year again. I had to submit digitally this year since I was in Utah on the normal drop-off date. Submitted 3 and got 1 in. Being in the Pro-2D category, I am competing against painters and other 2D artists as well so competition is very stiff.
