I went up to Silverthorne yesterday morning and got some shots, it was VERY cloudy, the sunrise was quite nice though.
I hope these are a little better than my last set, (I am not a photoshop expert)

I got some intermittent light on the ground, but once the sun had risen I couldn't get any light on the peaks (I guess my cloud controlling powers was a little off that day )

Guess what this time around I processed these photos sober LOL.
As you can tell from the first photo and some previous ones for some reason I Love placing flowers in the lower right of a scene

This one was taken at Lower Cataract Lake near the northern Eagles Nest WIlderness, it was quite the overcast day up there

I love the peaceful mood of these photos. They do need some better processing however. Hopefully some others on this forum can help you out with that as I really think they are worth working on.
I like number two best, Paul. The light interacting with the smooth curves of the landscape, and even the contrast between the green and the beetle killed pines, makes a lovely scene. This shot also has the fewest distracting elements (I guess I prefer fences to houses). The clouds and mountains in the first one are fantastic, but I find the houses, the light pole, the fence and the yellow bush are just too much. The third one is nicely peaceful and simple, and that's a dream of a reflection you captured in the fourth.

I like #2 the best, the smattering of light on the landscape is very nice.
