This is off topic from our normal nature photography topics but I thought I'd share this with you because it actually made me laugh ... something I haven't been doing too much of lately.

Check out this story ...

I need to switch creative mediums.

Sounds like Paul McCarthy has too much time on his hands.

Sounds like too many folks in the world are idiots - a giant turd is art? And most "art" museums still don't consider photography art - neither does the first lady of Arkansas - she wants to promote art in Arkansas, but won't allow photography - perhaps she needs a big turd floating around above LR...

Hmmm, I figured I'd be all alone in questioning whether flying fecal matter qualified as art. It's good to know I'm with like minded folks. Personally I found the story about the bride who forgot to cancel the restraining order on her groom much funnier.

Ah - you've got to love conceptual art. I remember listening to David Sedaris describing his experiences in the conceptual art world (an audio CD, but I can't remember which one). It was funny, interesting, and thought provoking, but mostly funny. Art covers a pretty broad spectrum in my view, and kudos to those who make the attempt.
