Hi Liam,
Welcome to the forum
It's a very nice first post that shows of those eye's superbly. I like the composition and the angle of the SEO, also including a nice shot of the habitat.
Great first post. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Regards
Rob

Yep, like the eye contact and tilt too. Keep 'em coming and welcome
Welcome Liam. Nice first post of a bird I've yet to see. Perhaps lose the darker band at top of frame and maybe crop to more of a panoramic. Might benefit from a touch of USM as well.
Nice one
Robert.
Welcome to the forum and a fine shot to open your account with.

Thank you for your kind words, it is appreciated. I feel it has lost a lot of detail due to the compression hence the sharpness. I have tried the crop but the image becomes almost boring so choose to keep it full frame.

Were you using a 2x TC or am I being silly. How can you have 2x on an f4 lens at f5? Pardon me if I'm being a thicky

Thanks, its a teleplus piece of rubbish teleconverter so it doesn't register on the camera, the lens was at f5 but it was actually only letting through f7 worth of light.
