House mouse (C) (very )
House mouse
In a pantry set up..From the archives . A film scan.
Most of the mice in houses are Wood Mice in fact. They don't smell- House Mice do , and are not that common. This was one of my early commissioned jobs for a part work called " Living Country Side "
Remember it ?!! Great natural history mag. Paid £7 a picture and it ran for two years. Got a few of us started. Bought me a camera .
They would ring up and say " Need a pic of a mouse in a pantry- if you haven't got one can you do it !! "
Those were the days !:toast: :toast: :toast:
Eckachrome 100ASA
metz 402 twin heads. Through glass.
F16@50th sec
Tried to sell this to Whitworths Sage & onion Stuffing Company !
They declined.
Enjoy it

Super shot John.
When I saw the title, I thought we were going to see one in a trap, not a larder.

Other than a slight colour-cast, it works! :toast:

Hi John,
I'm sure after this shooting the mouse was "over-nourished". :frown: I hope this word will fit.
