Me and the wife are heading there for labor day weekend. I was wondering if any one give me any info ? What kind of photo-ops are there ? Also any thing else in the area

Thanks Jamie

An amazing number of photo ops there.

My favorites are the trees on the beach (in the water at high tide) near the lighthouse. There is also the lighthouse, the marshes behind the island, and an inland "finger" of water that connects to the ocean, with subtropical vegetation along all the banks.

here are my pictures from Hunting Island.

Expect a crowd and a lot of beach erosion from Fay. If you want to look around St. Helena Island, old Fort Fremont at Lands End, and the Chapel of Ease below Frogmore. Frogmore has a few nice unique shops. Beaufort, especially the waterfront and historic district, has a lot of good photo ops. The marshes on the west side of Hunting Island also have some good vista shots. The maritime forest on Hunting Island is unique, if you are interested in that sort of thing.
