From Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, these were growing by the side of the road (always the best place for flowers!). Kind of beat up, but I liked them against the bed of yellow (Missouri cone flowers?).

Tim, this is a wonderful shot. I really like the twin pair of cone flowers and the selective focus you have applied to the shot. The combination of the yellow, green and purple is really pleasing. It looks like the Tilt Shift lense was put to good use.

Nice find Tim, I like the combination of colors, the reds pop in contrast to the yellow background.
Really a lot to like here Tim - great light, composition and depth, and what a beautiful color palette. Great photograph!

A top-notch color image with a nice distribution of in focus and out of focus elements. It's like one of those songs that just makes you happy. Anyone remember the Lovin' Spoonful? You don't?
