A first for me, Crossbill.
Taking my weekly walk about my local patch, and come across s number of the local birders all grouped together. Decided i'd stroll over and have a look. Turns out this flock are around fairly regularly but irregular enough that most of the group hadnt ever seen them before (me included) As luck would have it, the trees in this spot are only about 12 foot tall and they where feeding close to the pathway.

So there you are my first cross bill image.

Fabulous shot Paul - and great to get a Crossbill not miles up in the air. Have never been so lucky!
