LOOKING FOR EACH OTHER
Took this at greenisland iowa last tuesday.

The marsh is getting some dry spots in it so its kind of bunching these guys up.
After the floods this year who would have thought it would be getting to dry.

Nice title and composition. I wonder about the color for the bird on the right.

While the colors do appear to be off in this post, this is certainly a unique capture of these two. Good work, Wally.

I really like the moment you captured here, with the two birds echoing each other and facing opposite directions. In an "ideal" world, I would have liked less depth of field. As is, I find the grasses in both the foreground and background a bit distracting. The bird on the right also looks a touch soft - not sure if this is DOF or movement induced. Probably a tough situation regardless. I also agree that you have some color issues going on here (similar to some of your previous posts that I've viewed). I believe I have read in the past that you use "autocolor" within photoshop - if this is the case, it's undoubtedly part of the issue. It's seldom accurate to what we actually see in the real world. As is, you could selectively tone down the blue and magenta on the right hand bird, which would help a lot.

The color does appear a bit off, but the substance of this image is just wonderful. Great capture!
