I have a good friend here who pointed me to Cave Point County Park in Door County, Wisconsin. I first visited last fall and really fell in love with the place.
It just so happened that we rented a cabin a couple of miles away last week, and I went there three times! ;) This is one of my favorite photos from my time there. I'm hoping to post a few more images from my week in Door County...
First, I just 'fessed up in my latest post that I used a marine housing on the camera, so that's why it didn't get wet.
Second, I think that the focal length was at 24mm (which is less important since I wasn't worried about the camera getting wet). The wide angles work best for underwater photography since the light is extinguished pretty quickly. And, in this situation, it brought a lot of the situation into focus - the nearby splashes, the cave walls within ten to fifteen feet, and the background is almost in focus.
And, I do enjoy the 20D! I was shooting with the *istD series before this, so this is a major jump from 6 to 14 megapixels. The camera is solid and I like the many different features that are available with it that I've never had with a camera - shake reduction and continuous focus are what I most appreciate. Also, I shot 1700 frames last week and the battery didn't start showing any weakness 'til I got to about 1650 - which is about double the number of exposures that the Pentax literature says might be expected.
I went with the Pentax digital cameras because they're readily compatible with my Pentax 67 lenses, but I'm using the big lenses less than I expected. Unless Pentax comes out with a full-size CMOS sensor next time, I'll very seriously look at Nikon or Canon digital equipment...
I like the action and unique perspective here Tim. I'm don't recall seeing another image quite like it.

Tim, you're absolutely right...it's a big change to jump to the 10D or the 20D from the *istD series. I made the change last year to the 10D and have not regretted it even once!
