Well I was surprised to hear that it snowed last night and the night before up in the high country...so my Father and I decided to head up to Mount Evans and Loveland Pass early this morning. There wasn't much of a sunrise due to the clouds and fog out east but it was a beautiful summer day :D Here are a few shots (sorry for the small size but thats what I post on my site)
First photo: This was taken at Loveland Pass and is of the Citadel
I really like that Torrey's shot, and not just because it was taken in August. Those clouds down in the trees really emphasize the diagonals and tie things together.

Great shots, Michael--im jealous that you got out in those conditions! I especially like the fog shot.
Nice stuff Michael! Great fog shot in the trees. I love the Torreys shot as well. That is one of my favorite perspectives on it - and it reminds me of the early morning trek up I-70 during snowboard season...
I got out Sunday morning as well around Mt Evans so I'll have to try and post a couple when I get a chance.

Holy crap! You got a lot of snow up there! I've been out backpacking in the San Juans... we got a lot of hail and a few flakes but no real snow.

That Torreys shot is top-notch!
