Not so much me...but this guy is Caught him last night playing in this field of wildflowers n chasin dinner. My first capture of one of these actually.
Very nice shot. I agree with Catherine, that the sharp focus on the eyes really makes this picture. I'm curious where you took it? All the foxes around here look much more scrawny!

Very cool! I'm envious. What lens were you using?

Thanks for the comments. I was using my sharpest lens, the sigma 70-200. I was using an aperture of 3.5 I think @ 200mm handheld @ 160/sec. This was taken up along the Paradise trail to the John Muir snowfield.

Cute!!
He looks healthy. How tolerant was he? Any idea what he was after?
I really like the way he's surrounded by flowers.

PS Don't listen to Eric.... I've heard retinal scans of foxes don't sell at all. You want the 400 F/2.8. Be sure to get the accessory wheelbarrow.

He was after a brownish round bird about half the size of him that seemed to prefer to walk unless flight was a complete necessity. He didn't seem to even care that I was there. I followed behind him on the trail for a little while.
