American Kestrel
Captured this kestrel at Crown Hill Park today. This one was actually pretty cooperative.

Nice one Dan, I like the light. It's funny often they are very shy and other times you can get really close if you go softly softly. I've had two in my yard recently but they don't stick around long.

Nice shot Dan. Great catchlight in the eye and a good pose too.

Nice! The eye-light definitely adds to it. I'd crop out the oof tree top on right.

Great kestrel capture - the spread wings and catchlight are fantastic! I'd suggest cropping to a vertical to direct focus completely on the bird.

Excellent capture, Dan! I personally like the more open composition.
