Hey guys - Ever since I took a break in photography, things have changed. I've been trying hard to get back and take some real quality images, however there has not been much success I should say. Meanwhile I had to move out of Portland to Sacramento.

On my way down, I wanted to ride by 101 on my motorcycle and was hoping to get a good shot somewhere along the coast. Time was limited and I just got one decent shot. Hope you guys like it.

I've always loved this forum, the inspiration, and the ever growing group of talented photographers.

Just read about Rick's ailment. Hope the docs figure out what's wrong and treat him accordingly.

Here's a parting shot from port orford.

I like the mood of this one, and the reflection on the left is brilliant.

Pradeep, what a great shot! I love these blue scenes. We'll miss ya around here. I bet that was a great ride down 101 on that bike of yours. I really miss having one myself.

Hope all works out well for you in Sacramento. One more good thing about moving down there is your a whole lot closer to Laguna Seca (Mazda Raceway) and fun "track days" on that bike.

Keep shootin' and post a shot for us every once in a while.

Great shot!! Pradeep, love the long exposure effects here. The clouds and soft, smooth water are tempting me to go near water. But I am far away in Colorado. Hopefully you will keep shooting from Sacramento. :wavey: :wavey: regards, Rajeev.

Pradeep,
Many thanks for the kind words. Us Lambs have had more than our share of downs. It's time for some peaks on our road.
We shall miss your great images even more. But do know you can continue to post even if you don't live up here. Keep shooting when you can. You have a great eye. Nancy

Pradeep, If you can take the heat,Sacramento aint so bad. Take that bike(and camera) up to the Auburn/Foresthill bridge on the American River. Great ride and you can photograph the base jumpers on the 750 Ft. bridge. Get up to Tahoe in the winter. Have a great time and keep posting.

Hey Pradeep, Nice shot! I can picture Nancy & I eating a fine dinner at a swell seaside joint and watching this scene!!

Highway 101 is WAY up on my list of drives in the Bimmer!!

Please do feel free to post here - you're still part of us in my marginally humble opinion!! And yes I'm home and feeling MUCH better now thanks!!

Great shot.. hope you will find time to shoot some more... Are you still with Arris?

Hey thanks guys - am glad that I can still post here. So I'll take the 'Good bye' back :).

Rick - Cool, good to hear you are back home and feeling better

Eric - The ride was awesome and yeah am gearing up for the speedways.

Ned - yep am still with Arris and work out of my apartment now. I do drop in to Beaverton once every couple months or so.

Jerry - The only issue I have with this place is the heat and the desolate land. After being in the lush green northwest, this seems like a desert. Am slowly getting used to it.

If you think Sacramento is bad, try living in the San Fernando Valley! (Fortunately, that was a couple of decades ago for me.) Anyway, you're in decent driving range of the Sierras, including Yosemite, Sequoia, and Tahoe, Death Valley in wintertime, and I understand the northern California coast isn't too bad, either. Plus, pretty much year-round shooting! (And you can always post in CANP as well...)

Nice shot, love the blues. Post some of the CA good stuff now and then, it's always nice to see photos from the neighbors.
