Just in case you wonder what happens to all of those commercial ads (including photo competition announcements where the sponsors stand to profit) that are posted in these forums, I delete them.
Sorry to be such a killjoy, but our terms of use is pretty specific that "unsolicited commercial communication" is verboten.
Thanks. If anyone thinks they need more spam, let me know and I'll forward the extra 1K or so I get every day.

I dunno, every time I check my spam folder and find out of I've won the Irish lottery my heart goes pitter patter. Lotto is my only retirement plan, you know.

Great news to me; thanks Jim!

Yeah, well, it's partly my fault for not hanging around long enough in any job to qualify for a pension, and when Social Security falls apart and the government betrays the promise they made us as we paid in all these years (probably the news will break the day before I plan to retire), that'll be the government's fault.
And I'll still be playing the Powerball.
Well, unless I hit the lotto with photography. Right!
Meanwhile, Jim, thanks for separating the wheat from the chaff. A photographer may work from sun to sun, but an online forum administrator's work is never done!

I can't say that I am all that upset about keeping this place somewhere worth visiting

Well done.
Sounds pretty All American to me!
