It's a nice site (or will be when it's finished) and good to see a subject a bit different to what we normally see on UKNP. A couple of minor comments; when I was looking through the UK images I was looking for a title or description of what I was looking at. For those of us not particularly familiar with marine species this would be helpful. Also, for the more photographically minded it would be interesting to read a bit about the kit and techniques that you use to photograph underwater.
It would be nice to see some of your images posted on UKNP.

Thanks for your comments Matt. I shall add a page on kit I think. And the captions are coming - just takes me a while. Anyway thanks agaion for commenting.

Hi Gavin
Lots of impressive images - I particularly liked Mafia Island. I agree with Matt that some information on the species would be useful - simply their names would be a good start. Also, if you want to be visible to search engines, then you'll need the text, as well as key words. I have a vague recollection that Google gives low rankings to sites with lots of key words but no text, which is fairly common in photography web-sites.
My only other comment is that on my work computer I have a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, which is pretty much standard these days, and I have to scroll across the bottom to see the full entry page. While it's no big deal in practical terms I think that it just doesn't give the impression you want. At home I have widescreen monitors and I expect that this won't be an issue with them.

3 repliesI have created a new website and although I am still adding stuff to it, I'd appreciate feedback on look and contents etc
