Just returned from a quick backpacking trip with some friends to escape the heat in Portland. We trade heat for boat loads of mosquitoes and fantastic views as we headed to Santiam Lake in the Mt Jefferson Wilderness.
Sunrise was a dud, but around 7:30 this scene opened up. I was drawn to the flowery meadow, but the contrast was so high, I decided to focus on the magnificent sky, and try a different composition for a change. This is from a beautiful meadow at the north end with a great view of Three Fingered Jack.

Focusing on the sky worked Chris! This is a real nice scene. Well done. Have you thought about fixing the perspective to straighten the trees? Sometimes I leave the lens distortion and sometimes I take it out.

Thanks Eric, I actually did quite a bit of distortion correction here with the Vertical Perspective correction. I felt like anymore than this hurt the horizon line, so I left it.
I know there are techniques to correct with cloning, but I have no idea exactly how to do that.
