Thought you all might be interested in this--an image search engine:

http://tineye.com/

which allows you to find an image, based on other images. One of the intended uses of this engine is to allow photographers the means to do searches against copyright infringement. Now you can find an image of yours anywhere on the web...(theoretically, keep reading)

There are some examples here:

Now for the bad news. They have limited images indexed at this point (Case in point: I took an image of Maroon Bells from my collection and ran it through their search engine, I got back ONE result. Not exactly what I thought I'd see for one of Colorado's most photographed icons). However, we can help them out--if you submit your link for searching (see their FAQ), maybe we can improve their DB and make it even easier for us to protect our images online (which as we all know is more illusion than anything). But it's an interesting concept.

FWIW,

we should try again later, sounds interesting, thanks for the heads-up Dave. Wonder what they would do with our personal thumbnails?? Hmmm. Guess we'll find out!

Sounds a lot like PicScout, (which I have not tried yet). Thanks for the link!
