I am sad to report the passing of NPN member Jim Arvanitis. I received an email from his wife Cheryl today that Jim passed away last Saturday from a heart attack.
On behalf of all of us, our sincere condolence to Cheryl and to all of Jim's family.

My condolences to his family. I read his photographers portfolio profile and it said he was so looking forward to retirement in order to spend more time on his photography. How untimely and very sad.

I am so very sorry to hear this. It's strange how we make connections with people through sites like this. I didn't really know Jim other than through his work and the comments and insights he shared, and yet I feel as if I did.
My condolences to his family, please let them know that we will all miss him.
