Shot Sat am with the group... Nikon D200/ Nikon 200F4 Macro/
ISO 100 / 1/2 sec at F22
The ONLY adjustments I made in Lightroom were:
1) a slight adjustment exposure
2) A small amount of sharpening for size reduction
There were NO adjustments for Hue or Saturation, clarity etc.....
I guess it was that the light was so good?
I didn't see any reason to do anything else to this image. I am always on the fence as far as over sharpening these kind of images go. I kind of like this one as is. Do you?
Thanks for the input!

I like it Jack, the comp is great, the colors are terrific! The sharpness...I think I might like it sharpened just a bit more. I'm sure you will get many varied opinions on sharpening though.

I think the sharpness is fine ... it just seems overall dark to me - as if the levels need to be adjusted to bring some brightness up - but it just may be my opinion based on how I like to do things.. I agree that the color looks very accurate..

On this image my eyes goes straight to the green area, and that is the only place the image could use more sharpening. I agree with Ned's suggestion on brightness to add a bit of pop. Love the overall color and comp Jack.
I think I would go for a little lighter, a little sharper, and maybe a little contrast. These are so subjective, I have been working on about 8 of them this afternoon myself.

I'll second what Jerry said...

I do agree with most of what everyone commented on... and thank you all. However, it is still quite amazing to me how the image looks with little or no manipulation!
