Some detail in the background would have been good but not always that simple I know.

well captured David. I'm never too keen on black backgrounds but they're hard to avoid when using flash.

Thanks for your comments lads You can't please everybody so you might as well please yourself, and I Love black BGs. I think it emphasises the subject in many cases, which was my intention here,
