King's Creek
Konza Prairie, Manhattan, KS, on a beautiful Sunday morning last weekend. I added an Orton type effect to soften the harsh mid-morning light. Multiple images blended with EnfuseGUI. C&C always welcome and appreciated, thanks for looking.

This is pretty cool! Konza Prairie is one of those places that I've long wanted to visit - and, I had no idea that there was anything other than your "typical" prairie there - cool!

I too was surprised that there is some variety of settings in the Konza prairie. I have only hiked it once and after seeing Brad & your shots from there I for sure need to get back there.

Thanks Tim and Wayne. The trails at Konza actually start out in a valley with this creek. There are 3 trails that run out of the valleys and up to the top of the hills. The top of the hills are definitely prairie :).
