More Dogwood on Isle Royale
I'm working on another Dogwood pic from my Isle Royal trip back in July. Let me know if it is worth continue working on if you would. Taken on Caribou Island. Backdropped against a tree there in early evening flat light.

Canon 1DS Mark III
16-35 II @ 20
2.8, ISO 200 , 1/125

Cropped, B&W conversion, D&B in CS3

I like the B&W for this image. Personally, the tree in the background draws my eyes away from the flowers, Mitch. I think a square crop w/o the tree would work very well..my .02¢ worth.

I agree w/ Toni. The BG is distracting but a square comp eliminates most of that very easily. The B&W conversion worked well for this image.

I like the B&W. I think that removing the background would greatly improve the pictures. The floweres themselves are stunning.

I agree with the above opinions--I'd eliminate the background as it definitely pulls my eye.

Love the b/w treatment.

Another vote here for a crop. Interesting and effective use of a wide angle Mitch.
