Wasp spider in a swing
Hello friends,
yesterday I was out and I found wasp spiders. No joke! A field full of them. Up to eight pieces a square meter. Unbelievable. I found a very fat male. To capture it I had to destroy the nets of four other spiders. Of course I didnt. It was fascinating to find one more, one more .....
They sit in their net only about twenty centimeters over ground. Always head down. To parallel them with their thick abdomen you have to lay down completly on the ground. I must visit them again, soon.

Canon 20D + Tamron 180 + Tripod + RSE + PSCS.
f10, 1/160, ISO 400

C and C always welcome,
thanks for looking

Superb ! Love the tension on the curved piece of grass.
Great picture. Even a vertical crop without the space on the left would work too.
Cheers
