Hi John,

I'll be honest and say Rat's are the only creature that I really do not like  This is however a very nice image showing how adaptable these animals are, living in a Zoo, plenty of easy pickings from humans and animals!! I guess they don't live in the Eagle Owl enclosure

Regards

Rob- It was in the old bear enclosure( protected Architectral site ( !)
I think they had Llamas in there.

Nice one John, repost is definitely better on my monitor. What happened to all the old bears then?

Thanks all
Eric
A lot of the stuff from the old days was shipped off elsewhere . many were suffering from RAS as many did in zoos in the old days. There has been a massive improvement at Dudley over recent years which is still going on..All the old concrete animal houses and enclosures were way ahead of their time ( modernism 1935-1937)in the early days and are all protected.
Worth a visit.

Humm, the enclosures are more probably more protected than the animals are/where

Like the shot .

There are rats in the double fencing between me and the neighbours, but don't tell them.
I must entice one out and try and get an image, but they are understandabley very shy. I had a pet rat when I was a child. Very clean (the rat, not me) and far nicer than my dad's show mice. The repost is definitely better.
