A view of Temple Peak and Temple Lake from the Wind Rivers - appropriate names for a place that will humble you.
Canon 1dsIII, 24mm, f/14, ND filter, digital split toning.

wow, really cool. Heck carrying a 1dsIII that far would do more than humble me, it would cripple me!

If you only knew how many times I've stood on this very spot...in Google Earth! Makes me want to go there even more now. That whole Temple Peak/Lake area looks so impressive, and not terribly difficult to get to. Some day...

Jesse, I'm on the fence with the toning, but I love the image. I'm especially intrigued by the rocks underwater in the foreground.

Jesse, I'm with Paul on this one on the split toning, but regardless, the composition is very good with the cracks in the ice leading into the image. Looks like an amazing place to visit.

These shots from the winds are great! Nice shot. I'm on the fence about the toning too, can't put my finger on what bothers me.

I really like the toning in this image. Makes it look very barren and isolated.

Great shot Jesse! I like the flowing water on the bottom left.

I like your warm/cool toning effect. At first glance it took my eyes a while to figure out what was going on in the foreground. It's amazing how much snow/ice was still on the lake!

Beautiful image Jesse, I've been there myself, best week of backpacking I ever had.

Thanks for commenting everyone. The toning is indeed impacted by the strong contrast in this image - especially in the bottom half. I may try it in simple B/W as well.
