Cuckoo, with lunch
Hi to all,

Heres another juvenile Cuckoo, photographed this afternoon on the east coast, after many hours of searching I finally managed to get one in the viewfinder, I really like the enviroment in this one and the caterpillar was a real bonus. I was very pleased with how this ones turned out  Thanks for looking.

Nice Andrew you wait a life time then two come along at once? Good setting, though i think i'd prefer the closer fence post to be in focus, it draws my eye for some reason.

Hi Andrew,
Another oppurtunity well seized. I agree about the caterpillar being a bonus and I also like the setting.
I think you could crop out that right hand post easy enough, which IMHO would work very well.

Hi Paul,

Don't think I could have managed to get both posts in focus as the shooting angle was a little steep, yesterdays post was one of a pair of juvenile Cuckoo's, today there was just the one and he took quite a bit of finding, maybe the other bird has set off on migration ???

Hi Justin,

With the bird looking to the right, would a crop to portrait work ???

Hi Andrew,
I didn't mean a tight portrait, I was thinking of cropping the image as close as possible to the fence post in the foreground, just enough to lose it completely.

No problem Justin, I know what you mean now.

Thanks for the comments chaps.
