Hi,
I'm off to Skye and Mull for the first two weeks of September. Wondering if anybody has any advice on sites/species on both islands? Also I'm very keen to see Pine Marten - not necessarily to photograph - just seeing would be good enough for me! Has anybody got any sites or contacts where these can be seen or know of a hide where I can pay for some time? Sites nearer to the Kyle would probably be more useful than those near Inverness given my eventual destinations.
Cheers,
Dave

Yes, he is very good and puts in lots of time as opposed to some others that I may mention that only pick you up at 10:00am and drop you off before 5pm - not the best hours for photography! They are all worth taking though, just for the 1st day so you can get your bearings are revisit the locations in your own time. There are no Pine Martens (or any other land predators apart from raptors and owl) on Mull, but not sure about Skye.

Thanks Guys, I'll be visiting this chap for sure.
I'm surprised there weren't more takers for this thread given the quantity of shots that coem from Mull every year....
Elliot - you're right. No preds on Mull but Pine Martens have now made it to Skye over the bridge apparently!
