I hiked Castle and Conundrum Peaks yesterday outside of Aspen. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Near 12,000 feet on the 4wd road heading up to the basin, I came across this cross silhouetted against the sunrise. There was an old dilapidated mining cabin nearby, but little more. Thanks for looking. Oh, I'm still trying to sell my K200D kit...just in case you're looking for one or you know somebody who is or you'd like a backup camera or...OK, I'm done.

Nice, great idea! I think this would be stronger if you crop the sky to just above the top stratus clouds.

Great image! I agree about the cropping.

Thanks Stan and Dan for the comments...I wasn't sure about the crop at first either, so thanks for the suggestion.

Another vote for the crop, but otherwise, I like it!

Paul, Great composition! Reminds me of my Christian heritage. Agree on the cropping.
