Here's a shot from my recent family camping trip to Trillium Lake. It was quite foggy for early morning shots, however I got a couple of keepers after the fog burned off a bit. C&C welcome.

Here's another shot of a fisherman I posted in M&N:

Gone Fishing

Update: Thanks for your patience. I think I solved the issue of the photo not displaying. Is anyone not able to see it?

Technical info for Danny:

Nikon D80
80-200 VR @ 26mm
1/4s @ f/25
ISO 100
CP & 2 stop soft GND (handheld)

My Bad. This is the first time I've tried to link to an image in my personal gallery instead of uploading the image. I'll see if I can figure out why it won't display.

Hans,

Is it this one? http://hanssager.zenfolio.com/p371784635/?photo=h021822AA#35136170 (hope you don't mind the direct link).

I like it, though I am not sure about how much the right side of the mountain is blocked by the trees (maybe moving left a bit?). I like the mist, and most of all, it doesn't look photoshopped!

Kosta, no I don't mind the direct link. Thanks for your assistance. I think I have the original link corrected.

Although this particular location has the mountain somewhat obscured, moving to the left wouldn't change that. I took some shots from different areas around the lake where the whole mountain was visible, but preferred this shot over the others.

Hans,
I like this shot due to the colors and processing. It is also a nice scene which I think could have been better if it was captured before or at dawn.

Hans, I have been to Trilium Lk many times in search of an exceptional capture like THIS ONE!
I like it alot, great job with the comp, mist and exposure!

This is a very beautiful shot, I like the sky and clouds, the reflection and just the right amount of grass on foreground, the mist on the water and composition, very nice. Any technical info?

Interesting mix of thoughts above Hans, I like this one a lot and actually think it's one of the better Trillium shots I've seen. I, too, usually prefer sweeter light and a more direct placement of the mountain, but I think you pulled this one off nicely and I definitely echo the positive comments above. Everything comes together nicely for me here.

Hi Hans, I too am impressed with this outstanding image!! But I have to say that the image of the gentleman fishing is the best "fishing" image I've ever seen!! Superb work Hans!

Beautiful shot, Hans.

I REALLY like this one Hans. The trees on the right side don't bother me, in fact, they seem to add a bit of mystery to the mountain as it emerges from behind. This would be a superb gallery print; would love to see it at 30" wide!

Really Beautiful !! This is awesome - looks like a calendar shot to me.

Wow, this is great. It does look like a calendar shot as John mentioned. The way the fog moves your eye through the scene, and the use of the FG grasses as a bottom frame is brilliant. Easily the best Mt Hood shot I've seen in a while, and probably the best daylight Mt Hood shot.

One of the best in your portfolio, great job.
