Hi,

Another view of one of the accomodating Brandon Marsh Kingfishers, taken last Friday along with Mark Green, a pleasure to meet up.

I was shooting quite a bit longer, 800mm on a 1.6 crop body as opposed to Marks 400mm on a full frame body so I was able to take advantage of the more distant perches.

All the best

Phil

Nice one Phil. A good background can make a lot of difference. If you had Mark's action on your background........
Robert.

Very nice indeed Phil, there does seem to be a lot of images of this bird on this perch around the 'web', however this is one of the very best I've seen so far!

Yes a classic if not clichéd image of a Kingfisher, still excellent and well worth seeing.

I could look at kingfishers all day - especially the great shots on here. Another good one
