Here are a couple shots from the tail end of the rain storm we had a week and a half ago. Ran up to Genesee Park first to see what the clouds were doing...
Here is a shot along the Mt Evans byway. The clouds were really moving up the valley, this was one of my favorites. I've really been torn on processing with this one. I'd be curious if anyone has any suggestions for improvement.

More contrast on both images would be good, but that's it. They're neat shots.

Really cool cloud action. I agree with Todd they could use a little more contrast.

I really like the second one, Michael. I'll vote for a little extra saturation to make the evergreens pop against the clouds/fog.

The clouds in #1 are really interesting, but they do need a little something to pop. Contrast is probably a good place to start.
Thanks for the suggestions on the contrast. Looking at these this morning with fresh eyes they are a bit dull. Guess doing Pshop work around midnight with tired eyes didn't help me as I actually backed off the contrast on both of these. Looks like I went a bit too far!

I too like the second one. I think possibly more contrast and some additional saturation in the trees would benefit this.
did a quick bump on contrast/sat to make this look better, but I am on my work laptop which is uncalibrated. I just had to use the posted jpeg here as I don't have the original file with me, but I think it looks a little more respectable now.

The first shot is amazing! I like how the white clouds contrast with the darker background sky.
I'm really diggin' that first one, Michael. Being able to see more of the mountain would lend better context and a sense of scale, but I suspect that was beyond your control!
