Very unique image. I've got to say that I am anxiously awaiting fall.

The backlit frost on the trees is just as impressive as the bow. I thought it was compression/haloing at first. Excellent! I was obviously staring at some leaves on the ground or something. Never saw this.

Yeah, bring on fall!

Yo Jesse, you were in the forest (a hundred yards or so away) pointed the other direction. You showed me your images just after that, and I remember being very impressed. I was shooting film and still had to await actual results...exposure, filtration, film choice....so I wasn't in the braggin' mode. Truth be told, my transition to digital started that day......you were very influential. So thanks dude...

Todd will be along to collect his cloud royalty shortly.

Excellent shot, George!

Oh no, I owe Todd nothing; cloud tax my ass...... The fact is that the night before, I had to draw a pentagram on the floor of my room just to get the shot. I lost enough years right there, and the shot, while nice, isn't all that good. Let's just say I paid previously......

Pretty cool George. I thought it looked like sharpening went wild at first glance, but after I read the text below I understood what I was looking at.

This makes me think of Galen Rowell's work with atmospherics. Cool image, George.
