Hi Jeroen,

A beauty. Normally kingfishers are beautyfull. But this one has a little more contrast colors caused by the legs of the bird. Wonderfull shot.

Another stunning image Jeroen, I would also like to know why it was necessary to underexpose such a lot??

Hi Guys,

There where several reasons why i underexposed..
-The white cheaks of the bird wich tend to burn out
-To gain shutterspeed as these guys are soooo fast
-To get nicer saturated colours

Nice shot, and I like the slightly darker pics anyway. The stump seems to be competing with the bird a little in my opinion.
No big deal though.
