jay head shot .
Came across this whilst doing a sort
Taken at the pool a while back in my flash days
Not much surround so I've gone for an "eye in the middle " crop.
D200 Sigma 100-300mm
Metz 402 two heads in one unit, slave at back and above.
Again an excellent and sharp image. How much pratcize did it take you.
Then I can count the years I have to, to get that level

Cool hair do...
Amazing detail in the feathers! Looks like it has a slight greenish cast to me? But my monitor's uncalibrated....so it could just be me....

Thanks both
Dawn- You are right - I keep forgetting that eye dropper. Done an adjustment.
Tom- When the bird is sat in a puddle 5 foot away its not that difficult - believe me.
Cheers

Punk Jay!! Superb detail. Of the two I prefer the original post, the second looks a bit 'over the top' on my monitors. But then, what do I know? I'm no expert.

sEX PISTOLS !!
You can't say that on here !
I didn't say that this jay had a Metz 402 camera cable up his bum . It was a 41 Kilohertz squark
Took the words right out of my mouth.
Still not sure on the colour balance, the original had a very strong cyan cast which the re-post has corrected but the re-post now looks a bit too red.

Ah, repost looks better. I would agree with Justin it looks a bit red, but the whites looks white to me....so not sure...
Rock on....!

Thanks- the whites certainly look ok to me and they test ok.
Jays have quite a strong colour at times anyway- the flash has maybe emphasised it.
