Hi everyone again. It's time for you to show off your post-processing skills.
Please post your favorite version of the processed RAW file. My suggestion is that the voting for the best photo starts next Tuesday. That will give the procrastinators enough time to finish the processing.

Yours looks real good Momo. This is really a fun concept. Thanks for starting the idea.

Better give Todd his prize before Mothra shows up.

Very lifelike, Todd, but the mountain overlay is obviously layered in.

I like Todd's too unfortunately!

Oh NO! They say he's got to go...........GO GO Godzilla!!!!!! Yeah!

I decided for a more serious tone than Todd, so Todd, since we need a serious version in these tough economic times, while i love your version i will not throw you the victory so easily This one is "Two Nessies and a Cross" Talk amongst yourselves...

ROTFLMAO. This thread is hilarious...Just need someone to throw in a Fatali moon and we're done.

This reminds me of another forum I used to participate in that tried these processing threads. It doesn't take long before they turn into this!! Love the creativity though!!

I dunno... Todd's version is a little too incendiary for my tastes.

Some really cool stuff so far! It is great to see the different approaches.

Damn, you guys are good! I agree with the consensus that Todd's image kicks ass. For some reason this is the first idea that popped into my head so I just went with it...
While i love your version, Brett, i feel it would benefit from the Exxon Valdez running aground on the far shoreline (along with some strategically placed oil-covered penguins)

Mine's just a little less heavy-handed but you can't deny that Todd's is pretty original. This has been an entertaining thread to say the least.

Penguins don't live in Alaska...
(then again, Godzilla doesn't live in Colorado, as far as we know...)

OK, here's my serious post. I've looked at the original, and while the compostion is good, I don't feel the image has the lighting in which you could improve much on your original post. So, I've gone for the Photo-Art Effect like some of the others. My PS skills are somewhat limited, so I'll use some of the more obvious tools.

No funny stuff from me. Not as clever as you guys and your PS skills. The RAW image looked like it would be sort of an early sunrise time of day. Here's what I came up with.

Tried to add a penguin, but the penguin was transparent, hmmm.!
