Hi guys -
I just got back from a 3 week trip to Kenya covering the Maasai Mara, Baringo, Kakamega and Nakuru. It was a combination of photography and birding.
I have a trip report focusing on the photography side online here:

Comments on the photos also welcomes (I'll also be posting a few images on the boards here).
My thanks to Betty Lou from NPN for her recommendation of Woni Safaris (www.wonisafaris.com). They were a pleasure to deal with and provided an excellent guide who got us to good locations and good angles without undue prompting - very friendly and professional to deal with went above and beyond the call of a normal operator in trying to help (especially when one of my bodies conked out and I was trying to get a replacement). They are a smaller company and the personal touch is evident in what they have to offer. Highly recommended (and no, they are not paying me to write this... I am simply a very happy customer).
I will also post another great resource here for vehicle rentals: Adventure Upgrade Safaris (http://www.adventureupgradesafaris.co.ke/). Very good condition cars and an amazingly low price (around 30-40% cheaper than most places), with no hidden clauses or catches. Also good guys to deal with.

Lisa - I am planning a Serengeti trip in Feb, to coincide with the wildebeest birthing, so I hope you'll post a trip report when you are back.
